The people camped with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at Hijr, the land of Thamud, and they drew water from its wells and kneaded dough with it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered them to pour out the water they had drawn and to feed the dough to the camels, and he ordered them to draw water instead from the well that the she-camel used to come to. So they drew water from its wells and kneaded their dough with it.
