Abu Hurairah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A servant says, 'My wealth, my wealth!' Yet he truly owns only three things from his wealth: what he eats and consumes, what he wears and wears out, or what he gives away and thereby stores up for himself. Anything beyond that will pass away, and he will leave it behind for others."
