Three men from his people, among them Abu Qatada, said, "We used to pass by Hisham bin Amir on our way to Imran bin Husayn."Abdul-Aziz, meaning Ibn Mukhtar, reported to us that Ayub narrated from Humayd bin Hilal, who narrated from a group of men among whom were Abu Dahma and Abu Qatada. They said, "We used to pass by Hisham bin Amir to go to Imran bin Husayn."One day Hisham said, "You pass right by me to reach men who were no more often in the company of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ than I was, nor better informed about what he said than I am. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'From the creation of Adam until the rising of the Hour, there is no creature greater than the Dajjal.'"In another wording he said, "no matter greater than the Dajjal."
