We used to pass by Hisham bin Amir on our way to visit Imran bin Husayn. One day he said, "You walk past me to reach men who were no more present with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ than I was, nor more knowledgeable of his hadith than I am. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Between the creation of Adam and the coming of the Hour, there is no creation greater than the Dajjal.'"

كنا نمر على هشام بن عامر نأتي عمران بن حصين فقال ذات يوم إنكم لتجاوزوني إلى رجال ما كانوا بأحضر لرسول الله ﷺ مني ولا أعلم بحديثه مني سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول ما بين خلق آدم إلى قيام الساعة خلق أكبر من الدجال
