Three men from among the Muslims were sitting with Marwan bin Hakam in Medina, and they heard him speaking about the signs, saying that the first of them to appear would be Dajjal.Abdullah bin Umar said, "Marwan has said nothing of substance. I memorized a hadith from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ which I have not forgotten since. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say..." and he mentioned the like of it.
و حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله بن نمير حدثنا أبي حدثنا أبو حيان
جلس إلى مروان بن الحكم بالمدينة ثلاثة نفر من المسلمين فسمعوه وهو يحدث عن الآيات أن أولها خروجا الدجال فقال عبد الله بن عمرو لم يقل مروان شيئا قد حفظت من رسول الله ﷺ حديثا لم أنسه بعد سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول فذكر بمثله
