The Messenger of Allah ﷺ set out with a group of his companions, among them Umar bin Khattab, until he came upon Ibn Sayyad, a boy who had nearly reached puberty, playing with other boys near the fortress of Banu Muawiya. He continued the hadith just as in the report of Yunus, up to the end of the hadith of Umar bin Thabit.In the hadith from Yaqub, he said, "My father, Ubayy, said regarding his statement, 'Had he left him, it would have become clear,' meaning, 'Had his mother left him alone, his affair would have become clear.'"
