Hanzala Usayidi reported,

We were sitting with the Prophet ﷺ, and he admonished us and spoke of the Fire.Hanzala said, "Then I went home, and I joked with the children and played with my wife. So I went out and met Abu Bakr, and I mentioned this to him."Abu Bakr said, "I have done the very thing you are describing."Then we met the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I said, "Messenger of Allah, Hanzala has become a hypocrite."He said, "Hold on."So I told him what had happened, and Abu Bakr said, "I too have done what he did."The Prophet said, "Hanzala, there is a time for this and a time for that. If your hearts remained always as they are during the remembrance of Allah, the angels would shake your hands and greet you openly in the streets."
