The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "My heart sometimes feels clouded, and I seek forgiveness from Allah a hundred times a day."
Muslim narrated the other hadith through Amr bin Mura and Thabit, from Abu Burda, and both are sahih, even though Abu Ishaq said, from Abu Burda from his father, and was followed in this by Mughira bin Abu Hurr, from Saeed, from Abu Burda.Abu Ishaq sometimes practiced tadlis, while Mughira bin Abu Hurr is a shaykh, and Thabit and Amr bin Mura are both hafiz. They were also followed by two other men, Ziyad bin Mundhir and Ibn Ishaq, while Mughira bin Abu Hurr and Abu Ishaq took the easier path in reporting it.
I say, perhaps the confusion arose in the narration because in some of its chains, found in Muslim and Ahmad, volume, page 211 and page 26, Aghar narrated it from Ibn Umar.
