She heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The liar is not the one who reconciles between people, conveying good and reporting good."Ibn Shihab said, "I have not heard of any exemption granted regarding what people consider lying except in three cases, war, reconciling between people, and what a man says to his wife or a woman says to her husband."
حدثني حرملة بن يحيى أخبرنا ابن وهب أخبرني يونس عن ابن شهاب أخبرني حميد بن عبد الرحمن بن عوف أن أمه
أنها سمعت رسول الله ﷺ وهو يقول ليس الكذاب الذي يصلح بين الناس ويقول خيرا وينمي خيرا قال ابن شهاب ولم أسمع يرخص في شيء مما يقول الناس كذب إلا في ثلاث الحرب والإصلاح بين الناس وحديث الرجل امرأته وحديث المرأة زوجها
