Ayesha said, "Are you not amazed at Abu Hurairah? He came and sat next to my chamber narrating from the Prophet ﷺ, making sure I could hear him. I was busy with my supererogatory prayer, and he got up and left before I could finish my prayer. Had I caught him, I would have rebuked him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never used to rattle off hadith the way you people do."
و حدثني حرملة بن يحيى التجيبي أخبرنا ابن وهب أخبرني يونس عن ابن شهاب أن
أن عائشة قالت ألا يعجبك أبو هريرة جاء فجلس إلى جنب حجرتي يحدث عن النبي ﷺ يسمعني ذلك وكنت أسبح فقام قبل أن أقضي سبحتي ولو أدركته لرددت عليه إن رسول الله ﷺ لم يكن يسرد الحديث كسردكم
