Jareer bin Abdullah reported,

Jareer said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, 'Jareer, will you not relieve me of Dhul-Khalasah, that temple belonging to Khatham?' It used to be called the Yemeni Kaabah."Jareer continued, "So I set out with a hundred and fifty horsemen. Now I was never able to keep my seat on a horse, and I mentioned this to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He struck my chest with his hand and said, 'Allah, make him firm in the saddle, and make him one who guides and is guided.'"So Jareer went off and burned the place down with fire. Then he sent a man from among us, whose kunya was Abu Artah, to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with the good news. The man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said to him, "I did not come to you until we had left it looking like a mangy camel."Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ invoked blessings upon the horses of Ahmas and their riders, five times. In Marwan's version of the report he said, Jareer's bearer of good news, Abu Artah Husayn bin Rabia, came to bring the Prophet ﷺ the good news.
