Abu Dharr said, "Nephew, I had been praying for two years before the Prophet ﷺ was sent."I asked, "Toward where did you face?"He replied, "Wherever Allah directed me."Then he related the rest of the account similar to the narration of Sulayman bin Mughira, and said within it, "They went to settle a dispute before one of the soothsayers, and my brother Unays kept extolling himself before him until he prevailed over the other man. So we took the man's herd of camels and added them to our own."He also said in his narration, "The Prophet ﷺ came and circumambulated the House and prayed two rakahs behind the Maqam. I approached him, and I was the very first person to greet him with the greeting of Islam."I said, "Peace be upon you, Messenger of Allah."He replied, "And upon you be peace. Who are you?"In his narration as well, the Prophet ﷺ asked, "How long have you been here?"I answered, "For fifteen days."It also contains, Abu Bakr said, "Honor me by letting me host him tonight."
