He poured water for the Prophet ﷺ to perform ablution. The Prophet ﷺ performed ablution and wiped over his leather socks.He said to him, "Are you wiping over them?"The Prophet ﷺ replied, "I put them on while my feet were pure."
و حدثني محمد بن حاتم حدثنا إسحق بن منصور حدثنا عمر بن أبي زائدة عن الشعبي
أنه وضأ النبي ﷺ فتوضأ ومسح على خفيه فقال له فقال إني أدخلتهما طاهرتين
