One night the Messenger of Allah ﷺ could not sleep, so he said, "If only a righteous man from my companions would guard me tonight."Ayesha said, "Then we heard the sound of weapons."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "Who is this?"He replied, "Saad bin Abu Waqqas, Messenger of Allah. I have come to guard you."Ayesha said, "Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ slept until I heard him snoring."
حدثنا عبد الله بن مسلمة بن قعنب حدثنا سليمان بن بلال عن يحيى بن سعيد عن عبد الله بن عامر بن ربيعة
أرق رسول الله ﷺ ذات ليلة فقال ليت رجلا صالحا من أصحابي يحرسني الليلة قالت وسمعنا صوت السلاح فقال رسول الله ﷺ من هذا قال سعد بن أبي وقاص يا رسول الله جئت أحرسك قالت عائشة فنام رسول الله ﷺ حتى سمعت غطيطه
