The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A woman was punished because of a cat. She neither fed it nor gave it water, nor did she let it go and eat the small creatures of the earth."In the version narrated by the two of them, the wording is "she tied it up," and in Abu Muawiya's version it is "the crawling creatures of the earth."
