The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A woman was punished because of a cat she neither fed nor gave water to, nor did she let it eat from the creatures of the earth."
و حدثنا أبو كريب حدثنا عبدة عن هشام عن أبيه
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال عذبت امرأة في هرة لم تطعمها ولم تسقها ولم تتركها تأكل من خشاش الأرض
