Nafi reported that Abu Lubabah spoke to Ibn Umar about opening a door in his house that would give him a shorter way to the masjid. The boys found the shed skin of a snake, and Abdullah said, "Search for it and kill it."Abu Lubabah said, "Do not kill it, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade killing the snakes that live in houses."
