I had a maternal uncle who used to recite incantations for scorpion stings, and then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade incantations. So my uncle went to him and said, "Messenger of Allah, you have forbidden incantations, and I recite over scorpion stings."The Prophet replied, "Whoever among you is able to benefit his brother, let him do so."
