Ali bin Abu Talib reported,

A silken garment was gifted to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he sent it to me. I wore it, but then I noticed anger on his face, so he said, "I did not send it to you so that you would wear it. I only sent it to you so that you might cut it up into headscarves to distribute among the women."
