Abu Masud Uqba bin Amr reported,

There was a man from the Ansar called Abu Shuayb who had a servant who was a butcher. He saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and recognized hunger on his face, so he said to his servant, "Woe to you, prepare for us food enough for five people, for I want to invite the Prophet ﷺ as the fifth of five."So the servant prepared the food, and Abu Shuayb came to the Prophet ﷺ and invited him as the fifth of five. A man followed them, and when they reached the door, the Prophet ﷺ said, "This man has followed us. If you wish to permit him to enter, do so, and if you wish, he will go back."Abu Shuayb replied, "No, I will permit him, Messenger of Allah."
