Saeed bin Jubayr reported,

I asked Ibn Umar about nabidh made in earthen jars, and he said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade nabidh made in earthen jars."So I went to Ibn Abbas and said, "Do you not hear what Ibn Umar is saying?"He asked, "What is he saying?"I replied, "He said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade nabidh made in earthen jars."He said, "Ibn Umar has spoken the truth. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade nabidh made in earthen jars."I asked, "What exactly is nabidh of the jar?"He answered, "Anything made from baked clay."
