The Messenger of Allah ﷺ slaughtered his sacrificial animal, then said, "Thawban, prepare the meat of this for me." I kept feeding him from it until he arrived in Madinah.
حدثني زهير بن حرب حدثنا معن بن عيسى حدثنا معاوية بن صالح عن أبي الزاهرية عن جبير بن نفير
ذبح رسول الله ﷺ ضحيته ثم قال يا ثوبان أصلح لحم هذه فلم أزل أطعمه منها حتى قدم المدينة
