The Prophet ﷺ led us in prayer on the Day of Sacrifice in Medina. Some men went forward and slaughtered their animals, assuming that the Prophet ﷺ had already slaughtered. So the Prophet ﷺ ordered anyone who had slaughtered before him to repeat the sacrifice with another animal, and that no one should slaughter until the Prophet ﷺ had slaughtered.
و حدثني محمد بن حاتم حدثنا محمد بن بكر أخبرنا ابن جريج أخبرني أبو الزبير أنه سمع
ا صلى بنا النبي ﷺ يوم النحر بالمدينة فتقدم رجال فنحروا وظنوا أن النبي ﷺ قد نحر فأمر النبي ﷺ من كان نحر قبله أن يعيد بنحر آخر ولا ينحروا حتى ينحر النبي ﷺ
