Mujashi bin Masud Sulami reported,

Mujash said, "I brought my brother Abu Mabad to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ after the conquest and said, 'Messenger of Allah, take his pledge for emigration.'"The Prophet replied, "Emigration has passed away along with those who undertook it."Mujash asked, "Then for what will you take his pledge?"He answered, "For Islam, jihad, and doing good."Abu Uthman said, "I then met Abu Mabad and told him what Mujash had said, and he confirmed, 'He spoke the truth.'"In another version he said, "I met his brother, and he said that Mujash had spoken the truth," without naming Abu Mabad.
