The Messenger of Allah ﷺ appointed a man to collect the zakat. When the man returned, he brought a great deal of property and began saying, "This is for you, and this was given to me as a gift." Then he mentioned something similar to that.Urwa said, "I asked Abu Humayd al-Saidi, 'Did you hear this directly from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?'"He replied, "From his mouth to my ear."
و حدثناه إسحق بن إبراهيم أخبرنا جرير عن الشيباني عن عبد الله بن ذكوان وهو أبو الزناد عن عروة بن الزبير
أن رسول الله ﷺ استعمل رجلا على الصدقة فجاء بسواد كثير فجعل يقول هذا لكم وهذا أهدي إلي فذكر نحوه قال عروة فقلت لأبي حميد الساعدي أسمعته من رسول الله ﷺ فقال من فيه إلى أذني
