The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever frees his share of a slave is obligated to free the slave entirely if he has wealth that covers the slave's value. If he does not have such wealth, then only the portion he freed is emancipated."
حدثنا ابن نمير حدثنا أبي حدثنا عبيد الله عن نافع
قال رسول الله ﷺ من أعتق شركا له من مملوك فعليه عتقه كله إن كان له مال يبلغ ثمنه فإن لم يكن له مال عتق منه ما عتق
