Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the year of the Conquest. (Another chain) Muhammad bin al-Muthanna narrated to us, Dahhak, meaning Abu Asim, narrated to us, from Abdul-Hameed, Yazid bin Abu Habib narrated to me, he said, Ata wrote to me that he heard Jabir bin Abdullah say, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the year of the Conquest," with the same wording as the hadith of Layth.

حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة وابن نمير قالا حدثنا أبو أسامة عن عبد الحميد بن جعفر عن يزيد بن أبي حبيب عن عطاء

عن جابر قال

سمعت رسول الله ﷺ عام الفتح ح و حدثنا محمد بن المثنى حدثنا الضحاك يعني أبا عاصم عن عبد الحميد حدثني يزيد بن أبي حبيب قال كتب إلي عطاء أنه سمع جابر بن عبد الله يقول سمعت رسول الله ﷺ عام الفتح بمثل حديث الليث
