The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the sale of fruit until it ripens.They asked, "What does ripening mean?"He replied, "It turns red."Then he said, "If Allah withholds the fruit, by what right would you take your brother's wealth?"
حدثني أبو الطاهر أخبرنا ابن وهب أخبرني مالك عن حميد الطويل
أن رسول الله ﷺ نهى عن بيع الثمرة حتى تزهي قالوا وما تزهي قال تحمر فقال إذا منع الله الثمرة فبم تستحل مال أخيك
