Abu Salama bin Abdul-Rahman and I went in to see Fatimah bint Qays and questioned her. She said, "I was the wife of Abu Amr bin Hafs bin Mughira, and he went out on the expedition to Najran." She then narrated the hadith along the lines of Ibn Mahdi's report.Wazad added that she said, "So I married him, and Allah honored me through Abu Zayd, and Allah ennobled me through Abu Zayd."
