The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he performed tawaf during Hajj or Umrah upon his arrival, would jog for the first three circuits around the House, then walk the remaining four. After that, he would pray two rakahs and then perform the saee between Safa and Marwa.
و حدثنا محمد بن عباد حدثنا حاتم يعني ابن إسمعيل عن موسى بن عقبة عن نافع
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان إذا طاف في الحج والعمرة أول ما يقدم فإنه يسعى ثلاثة أطواف بالبيت ثم يمشي أربعة ثم يصلي سجدتين ثم يطوف بين الصفا والمروة
