Zaynab Thaqafiya reported,

He said, I mentioned this to Ibrahim, and he narrated to me from Abu Ubayda, from Amr bin Harith, from Zaynab, the wife of Abdullah, that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Give in charity, women, even from your jewelry."Zaynab said, "So I went back to Abdullah and said to him, 'You are a man of slender means, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has commanded us to give charity. Go and ask him whether giving it to you would count for me. If not, I will give it to someone other than you.'Abdullah said to me, 'No, you go to him yourself.'So I set out, and there at the door of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was a woman of the Ansar whose errand was the same as mine. Now the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had been clothed with an awe that commanded reverence, so when Bilal came out to us we said to him, 'Go to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and tell him that two women are at the door asking whether charity given to their husbands and to orphans in their care counts for them. But do not tell him who we are.'Bilal went in to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and put the question to him.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, 'Who are they?'Bilal replied, 'A woman of the Ansar, and Zaynab.'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, 'Which Zaynab?'He said, 'The wife of Abdullah.'So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ told him, 'They have two rewards, the reward for kinship and the reward for charity.'"She said, "I was in the masjid when the Prophet ﷺ saw me and said, 'Give in charity, even from your jewelry,'" and he related the rest of the hadith along the lines of the hadith of Abu Ahwas.
