A man from the tribe of Bani Bajilah named Nuhayk bin Sinan came to Abdullah and said, "I recite the Mufassal portion of the Quran in a single rakah."Abdullah replied, "That is reciting it as hastily as one recites poetry. I know well the paired surahs that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite, two surahs in each rakah."

جاء رجل من بني بجيلة يقال له نهيك بن سنان إلى عبد الله فقال إني أقرأ المفصل في ركعة فقال عبد الله هذا كهذ الشعر لقد علمت النظائر التي كان رسول الله ﷺ يقرأ بهن سورتين في ركعة
