Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

Ibn Abbas reported that he spent the night at the home of his maternal aunt Maymunah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ rose during the night and performed a light ablution from a waterskin that was hanging up. The narrator described his ablution, noting that he made it light and used little water.Ibn Abbas said, "I got up and did just as the Prophet ﷺ had done. Then I came and stood on his left side, but he moved me around and placed me on his right. He prayed, then lay down and slept until I could hear him breathing deeply. Then Bilal came and called him for the prayer, so he went out and prayed the dawn prayer without performing ablution again."Sufyan said, "This was something specific to the Prophet ﷺ, because it has reached us that the Prophet's ﷺ eyes would sleep but his heart would not."
