Muslim narrated the hadith of Ibn Wahb, from Yunus, from Zuhri, from Saaib and Ubaydullah, from Ibn Umar, from Umar, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, "Whoever sleeps through his portion..." He said, Layth and Ibn Safwan followed him in narrating from Yunus, while Ibn Mubarak narrated it from Yunus as a stopped report.Maamar said, from Zuhri, from Urwa, from Ibn Ubayd, from Umar, as a stopped report.Malik said, from Dawud bin Husayn, from Aaraj, from Ibn Ubayd, from Umar, as a stopped report.He also narrated the hadith of Zuhri, from Saaib bin Yazid and Ubaydullah bin Abdullah bin Utba, from Abdul-Rahman bin Abd, from Umar, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, "Whoever sleeps through his portion or part of it, and then recites it between the Fajr and Dhuhr prayers, it is as if he recited it during the night." This is from the hadith of Ibn Wahb, from Yunus.Abu Hasan said, Abu Safwan Abdullah bin Saeed, Layth bin Saad, and Ibn Aziz followed him in this, narrating from Salama, from Aqeel.Ibn Mubarak narrated it from Yunus, from Zuhri, as a stopped report.Maamar narrated it from Zuhri, from Urwa, from Abdul-Rahman bin Abd, from Umar, as a stopped report, putting Urwa bin Zubayr in the place of Saaib and Ubaydullah.Malik narrated it from Dawud bin Husayn, from Abdul-Rahman Aaraj, from Abdul-Rahman bin Abd, from Umar, as a stopped report.
