The Prophet ﷺ, when travel pressed him for time, would delay the noon prayer until the beginning of the afternoon prayer's time and combine the two, and he would delay the sunset prayer until he combined it with the night prayer when the twilight disappeared.
و حدثني أبو الطاهر وعمرو بن سواد قالا أخبرنا ابن وهب حدثني جابر بن إسمعيل عن عقيل عن ابن شهاب
عن النبي ﷺ إذا عجل عليه السفر يؤخر الظهر إلى أول وقت العصر فيجمع بينهما ويؤخر المغرب حتى يجمع بينها وبين العشاء حين يغيب الشفق
