Abdullah bin Abbas delivered a sermon to us on a muddy, rainy day. He continued the hadith with the same meaning as the hadith of Ibn Ulayyah, but he did not mention the Friday prayer. He said, "Someone better than me has done this," meaning the Prophet ﷺ.Abu Kamil reported to us, Hammad narrated to us from Asim, from Abdullah bin Harith, a similar narration.

خطبنا عبد الله بن عباس في يوم ذي ردغ وساق الحديث بمعنى حديث ابن علية ولم يذكر الجمعة وقال قد فعله من هو خير مني يعني النبي ﷺ و قال أبو كامل حدثنا حماد عن عاصم عن عبد الله بن الحارث بنحوه
