I asked him about the qunut, whether it is before the bowing or after the bowing.He said, "Before the bowing."I said, "But some people claim that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the qunut after the bowing."He replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ only performed the qunut for one month, supplicating against people who had killed some of his companions known as the reciters."

سألته عن القنوت قبل الركوع أو بعد الركوع فقال قبل الركوع قال قلت فإن ناسا يزعمون أن رسول الله ﷺ قنت بعد الركوع فقال إنما قنت رسول الله ﷺ شهرا يدعو على أناس قتلوا أناسا من أصحابه يقال لهم القراء
