Malik reported,

Someone asked Ibn Shihab about making a conditional stipulation in Hajj.Ibn Shihab replied, "Does anyone actually do that?" and he rejected the practice.Malik was asked whether a man may gather grass from the sacred precinct for his riding animal.He answered, "No."
