Abdullah bin Umar set out from Makkah, and when he reached Qudayd news came to him from Madinah, so he turned back and entered Makkah without entering the state of ritual consecration.He also narrated to me from Malik, from Ibn Shihab, the same account.
و حدثني عن مالك
أن عبد الله بن عمر أقبل من مكة حتى إذا كان بقديد جاءه خبر من المدينة فرجع فدخل مكة بغير إحرام و حدثني عن مالك عن ابن شهاب بمثل ذلك
