Abdullah bin Umar was traveling from Makkah, and when he reached Qudayd, news came to him from Madinah, so he turned back and entered Makkah without entering the state of ihram.
وحدثني عن مالك،
أن عبد الله بن عمر أقبل من مكة، حتى إذا كان بقديد؛ جاءه خبر من المدينة، فرجع، فدخل مكة بغير إحرام.
