Someone asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "Why is it that the people have come out of the pilgrim state, while you have not come out of it after your umrah?"He replied, "I have matted down my hair and garlanded my sacrificial animal, so I will not come out of it until I have offered the sacrifice."
وحدثني عن مالك، عن نافع، عن عبد الله بن عمر،
لرسول الله ﷺ: ما شأن الناس حلوا، ولم تحل أنت من عمرتك؟ فقال: إني لبدت رأسي، وقلدت هديي، فلا أحل حتى أنحر.
