Nafi reported,

He heard Abdullah bin Umar, while standing on Safa, making this supplication, "O Allah, You have said, 'Call upon Me, and I will answer you' [Ghafir 40:60], and You do not fail to keep Your promise. I ask You that, just as You guided me to Islam, You never strip it from me until You take me in death as a Muslim."

أنه سمع عبد الله بن عمر وهو على الصفا يدعو يقول اللهم إنك قلت {ادعوني أستجب لكم} وإنك لا تخلف الميعاد وإني أسألك كما هديتني للإسلام أن لا تنزعه مني حتى تتوفاني وأنا مسلم
