Alqama reported,

Ayesha, Umm Muiminin, used to make her camp for Arafah at Namirah, and later she shifted it to Arak. The narrator said that Ayesha, and those who were with her, would call out the pilgrim's invocation as long as she remained in her camp, but once she mounted and headed for the place of standing, she would stop calling it out.The narrator also said that Ayesha used to perform the lesser pilgrimage after Hajj, setting out from Makkah during Dhul-Hijjah, but later she gave that up. She would depart before the new moon of Muharram and travel until she reached Juhfah, where she would stay until she sighted the crescent, and when she saw it she would begin the lesser pilgrimage by calling out the invocation.
