Malik reported,

Abdullah bin Umar was asked about a pregnant woman who fears for her child and finds fasting too difficult for her. He said, "She should break her fast, and for each day feed a poor person a measure of wheat, using the Prophet's measure."

عن مالك أنه بلغه

أن عبد الله بن عمر سئل عن المرأة الحامل إذا خافت على ولدها، واشتد عليها الصيام؟ قال: تفطر، وتطعم مكان كل يوم مسكينا مذا من حنطة بمد النبي.
