We came to Anas bin Malik after Dhuhr, and he stood up to pray Asr. When he had finished his prayer, we mentioned praying early, or he mentioned it, and he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'That is the prayer of the hypocrites. That is the prayer of the hypocrites. That is the prayer of the hypocrites. One of them sits until the sun turns yellow and is between the horns of Satan, or upon the horn of Satan, then he gets up and pecks out four units, scarcely remembering Allah in them at all.'"
و حدثني عن مالك
دخلنا على أنس بن مالك بعد الظهر فقام يصلي العصر فلما فرغ من صلاته ذكرنا تعجيل الصلاة أو ذكرها فقال سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول تلك صلاة المنافقين تلك صلاة المنافقين تلك صلاة المنافقين يجلس أحدهم حتى إذا اصفرت الشمس وكانت بين قرني الشيطان أو على قرن الشيطان قام فنقر أربعا لا يذكر الله فيها إلا قليلا
