"He frowned and turned away" was revealed concerning Abdullah bin Umm Maktoom. He came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and kept saying, "Muhammad, bring me near you."At the time there was a man from among the great chiefs of the idolaters sitting with the Prophet ﷺ, so the Prophet ﷺ turned away from Abdullah and gave his attention to the other man, saying to him, "So and so, do you see any harm in what I am saying?"The man replied, "No, by the blood of the sacrifices, I see no harm in what you say."So there was revealed, "He frowned and turned away because the blind man came to him" [Abasa 80:1–2].
