The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Shall I tell you what Allah uses to erase sins and raise ranks? Completing wudu thoroughly despite discomfort, taking many steps toward the mosques, and waiting for the next prayer after the prayer. That is your guard duty, that is your guard duty, that is your guard duty."
و حدثني عن مالك عن العلاء بن عبد الرحمن بن يعقوب عن أبيه
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال ألا أخبركم بما يمحو الله به الخطايا ويرفع به الدرجات إسباغ الوضوء عند المكاره وكثرة الخطى إلى المساجد وانتظار الصلاة بعد الصلاة فذلكم الرباط فذلكم الرباط فذلكم الرباط
