When one of you prays and then remains seated in the place where he prayed, the angels keep praying for him, "Allah, forgive him. Allah, have mercy on him." And if he gets up from his place of prayer and sits in the masjid waiting for the next prayer, he remains in a state of prayer until he prays.
و حدثني عن مالك عن نعيم بن عبد الله المجمر أنه
إذا صلى أحدكم ثم جلس في مصلاه لم تزل الملائكة تصلي عليه اللهم اغفر له اللهم ارحمه فإن قام من مصلاه فجلس في المسجد ينتظر الصلاة لم يزل في صلاة حتى يصلي
