A man from the tribe of Banu Asad asked Abu Ayub Ansari, "I pray in my house, then I come to the masjid and find the imam praying. Should I pray with him?"Abu Ayub replied, "Yes, pray with him. Whoever does that has a share of the congregation, or something like a share of the congregation."

عن رجل من بني أسد أنه سأل أبا أيوب الأنصاري فقال إني أصلي في بيتي ثم آت المسجد فأجد الإمام يصلي أفأصلي معه فقال أبو أيوب نعم فصل معه فإن من صنع ذلك فإن له سهم جمع أو مثل سهم جمع
