Abu Jahm bin Hudhayfa presented the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a Syrian cloak that had a decorative border, and he prayed while wearing it. When he had finished, he said, "Take this cloak back to Abu Jahm, for I kept looking at its border during the prayer and it nearly distracted me."
حدثني يحيى عن مالك عن علقمة بن أبي علقمة عن أمه أن
أهدى أبو جهم بن حذيفة لرسول الله ﷺ خميصة شامية لها علم فشهد فيها الصلاة فلما انصرف قال ردي هذه الخميصة إلى أبي جهم فإني نظرت إلى علمها في الصلاة فكاد يفتنني
